I’ve bought several wardrobe staples while working at Theory, but the black crepe bomber jacket wins for being the most versatile piece.
There are endless possibilities for the black Daryette jacket. Style it with a white shirt, skinny black pants and booties for an elevated everyday look; pair it with a graphic tank, boyfriend jeans and white sneakers for the weekend; or wear it with a LBD for a night out.
I’m tempted to buy the jacket in ivory—it would complement a range of summer camisoles and blouses in different colors and patterns. The lightweight jacket serves as a modern alternative to a classic cardigan.
There’s more than enough room to fit a few new pieces in my closet—I consigned and donated a shameful number of clothes over the past week—but I want to focus on purchasing basics or quality wardrobe staples.
Anyways. I need to buy my one-way plane ticket to Paris for early June before I make any other major purchases…
But we’ll save that conversation for another time 🙂
